Citroen has just added a more luxurious, UK-only special edition to its C4 Picasso range.

The C4 Picasso Lounge has received upgrades both inside and out. The interior features full black leather armchair seats, multi-function steering wheel, rain-sensing wipers, front and rear parking sensors and a Philips sound system.

On the outside, Citroen has kitted the Lounge with a chrome grille, rear spoiler, chrome wheels and a panoramic sunroof.

Power comes from a 2.0-litre HDi 138hp engine mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Well equipped though it is, the C4 Picasso Lounge will set you back an extra £2755 over the 2.0 HDi Exclusive model it's based on, costing a substantial £23,995.

Or to put it another way, the range-topping 7-seat Ford S-Max 2.0 TDCi costs £2000 less, leaving you plenty of change to update the lounge you've already got.
